Love is blind!

Okay, we may not be meeting on Valentine’s Day, but it is in February! The first tasting this month is one to not be missed…. we have a video to share that will walk us through Deductive Tasting and help us to analyze what is in our glass.

Often misunderstood, blind tasting doesn’t literally mean tasting a wine without being able to see it, but tasting a wine with no idea of provenance, grape varieties, vintage or any evidence really other than the liquid in front of you. Blind wine tasting is the skill of determining the varietal, region, vintage, and/or producer by only using your senses. To be an expert blind wine taster you need to build keen senses!

Join us bi-monthly as we blindly taste three wines selected for you. We will be seated as one big group around the table and discussion will be plentiful! Your Vinum Somms will have tasting tips and tricks for you as well as general wine knowledge to guide you along the way. Wine is FUN, don’t be so serious!

The Fine Print:

– This event is different than ones of late: only one seating around the main tasting table of 12 people. Please note that you may be seated near other members that you do not know and keep this in mind when you are reserving your spot.

– $10 per member – you will be charged upon reservation. There are no refunds. 

– IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND, please call or email us ASAP so that we may offer your space to those awaiting a reservation.

– This event is for members only as it is limited to only 12 guests.
