Cage Imports is a California-based wine importer dedicated to introducing the United States to the next generation of Champagne producers. Founded by Garth and Cat Hodgdon, the company focuses on uncovering and sharing the evolving stories of the land, people, and growers of the Champagne region. Their mission is to bring fresh perspectives to American consumers through carefully selected bottles, compelling narratives, and vivid imagery.

Garth Hodgdon, with over a decade of experience as a sommelier—including roles as Head Sommelier at Bouchon Bistro and sommelier positions at The French Laundry and Per Se—served as the National Ambassador for Champagne Krug for five years. His extensive background in Champagne education and appreciation complements Cat Hodgdon’s two decades in architecture and design, where she has crafted spaces for top restaurants and wineries. Together, they combine their expertise to curate a portfolio of grower Champagnes that reflect the dynamic and diverse terroirs of the region.
