About Inglenook
Founded in 1879, Inglenook was the dream of Gustave Niebaum who wanted to create wines from an expressly American terroir that would equal those made in the great wineries of Europe. Today, the estate is comprised of 1700 contiguous acres—235 of which are organically certified vineyards—located in Napa Valley’s Rutherford appellation and is one of the few remaining family-owned wine estates of this magnitude in the United States. Being one of the cornerstones of the region’s wine history, Inglenook has been setting standards of excellence in winemaking that can be measured in decades.
Vitality and ingenuity are hallmarks of Inglenook’s spirit, revealed in a selection of wines both balanced and elegant, and offered in a range of visitor experiences that convey classic warmth and hospitality.
Winemaker Philippe Bascaules
After 20 years at the legendary Château Margaux, the renowned French winemaker Philippe Bascaules came to Napa in 2011 to become Managing Director and Winemaker of Inglenook. In 2017 he returned to Château Margaux as Managing Director but remains Inglenook’s Head Winemaker.

– We will continue limiting the number of members at each event and offering multiple time slots, in order to continue delivering the best experience possible. With smaller & more focused groups, our clients are able to gain a deeper understanding of the wines and featured wineries.
– IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND, please call or email us ASAP so that we may offer your space to those awaiting a reservation. Due to an increase in no-shows and last-minute cancellations, we will be implementing a $25/person fee for cancellations under 24 hours. We understand that things come up, we just want to have the opportunity and time to offer the spot to someone else!
