June 2026 Grand Crew Wine Selections

June’s selections celebrate the beauty of place — pairing the fog-kissed ridgelines of California’s West Sonoma Coast with the sun-warmed, sea-salted shores of Bolgheri. Two coastal wines, two distinct expressions, one shared language of freshness and minerality.

Fieldpoint | Sonoma Coast | Pinot Noir | 2024
Elegant and expressive, with red cherry, wild strawberry, and violet giving way to forest floor and crushed stone. Silky tannins and vibrant acidity carry the wine to a long, savory finish with a touch of coastal minerality.

Tenuta Le Colonne | Vermentino | Costa Toscana | 2024
Bright and aromatic, with ripe peach, lemon zest, white blossom, and fresh herbs. Crisp acidity and a delicate saline thread weave through the palate, finishing clean and mineral-driven with a refreshing sea-breeze lift.

Stop by and try a splash of each wine and order additional bottles of your favorites.
We are excited to see you!

About the Wines

Fieldpoint: Sonoma Coast (California) Fieldpoint is the debut project of winemaker Jake Pickett, whose decade of experience across Sonoma’s top AVAs led him to focus exclusively on the “true” West Sonoma Coast — California’s most compelling terroir for Pinot Noir. Rather than single-vineyard bottlings, Pickett blends fruit from elite coastal sites to craft what he calls an expression greater than any one vineyard alone. The 2024 is Fieldpoint’s inaugural release.

Pinot Noir | 2024 Sourced from three sites — two high-elevation Annapolis vineyards on Goldridge soils and a Laguna Ridge Russian River Valley parcel — each fermented separately with a 14-day maceration and 10% whole cluster inclusion. Aged nine months in French oak (29% new), then six months in bottle. The 2024 season delivered generous winter rains, consistent warmth through summer, and cool nights that preserved the freshness and acidity hallmark of the appellation.

Tasting Notes: Red cherry, wild strawberry, violet, forest floor, and crushed stone with a long mineral finish.

Pairings: Duck breast, salmon en papillote, mushroom risotto, charcuterie, or soft-ripened cow’s milk cheeses.

Tenuta Le Colonne: Costa Toscana — Bolgheri (Tuscany, Italy) Tenuta Le Colonne is the closest winery to the sea within the Bolgheri appellation, situated on its southern edge and certified organic since 2019. Part of the Alejandro Bulgheroni Family Vineyards portfolio, the estate’s Vermentino vines grow on extremely sandy soils just meters from the Tyrrhenian coast, where the sea moderates temperatures and lends a signature saline minerality to the wines.

Vermentino | 2024 100% estate-grown Vermentino, harvested late August from southwest-facing vineyards. Fermented in stainless steel and aged three months on fine lees, preserving the variety’s vivid aromatics while adding subtle texture and depth.

Tasting Notes: Ripe peach, lemon zest, white blossom, fresh herbs, and a clean saline finish.

Pairings: Grilled branzino, shellfish, fritto misto, fresh mozzarella with heirloom tomatoes, or herb-roasted chicken.
